Back to products list Get a Quote DALE22 Parabolic Flow Adapter   Description The Dale Technology Parabolic Flow Adapter Model DALE22 is a unique hand-held, easy-to-use device enabling users of Dale Universal Pressure Meters to make critical gas flow measurements in hospitals, factories, or service centres. Typical applications include calibrating flows of various gases from wall outlets, breathing machines, ventilators, anaesthesia machines, compressors, and regulators. The operation of the DALE22 is based on the principle that the differential pressure measured across a known restrictor is proportional to the flow of gas through the restrictor. Most general purpose flow measurements are carried out without a back pressure in the system (vented to atmosphere). Since the Dale Technology Pressure Meters are calibrated and zeroed to atmosphere, you can measure the pressure at the side of the restrictor proximal to the flow input and use the reading to determine actual flow value. The DALE22 can also be used to measure flows under back pressure.
