Overview

 

Versatile analysis with pacer testing option.
The QED 6 measures delivered energy in watt seconds/joules (with a simulated human resistance of 50 ohms), synchronization time in milliseconds (measured and displayed from the "Q" or "R" wave), and peak measurements (current, voltage) including overshoot. The QED 6 is also an excellent choice when it comes to testing newer defibrillators that utilize biphasic output waveforms and automatic defibrillators or AEDs. Transthoracic pacers available on most defibrillators may be tested with the "H" version of the QED 6.

The QED 6M simulates ECG, performance, and arrhythmia waveforms for monitor verification, has a built-in clock for charge time measurements, and allows you to program up to 28 defib test sequences with test limits for energy.

The QED 6H allows you to perform complete non-invasive transthoracic pacer testing: pulse rate, pulse width, current, voltage, and refractory periods are tested and displayed. It includes an automatic paddle adapter and a Pacer Load Adapter (PLA).
